Page Industries has held the Jockey licence in India since 1994 and built one of the country's most consistent consumer stocks on the back of it.

The Genomal family built Page Industries into India's dominant innerwear and athleisure manufacturer through an exclusive licensing arrangement with the Jockey brand, held since 1994. Starting from a small manufacturing operation in Bengaluru, Sunder Genomal and his brothers Ramesh and Nari scaled the business by investing in precision manufacturing, retail partnerships and a supply chain that could deliver consistent quality across a wide range of sizes and styles. The Jockey brand's association with quality and fit, combined with Page's manufacturing investment, gave the company a durable competitive position in a category where brand trust is the principal purchase driver.

Page Industries listed in 2007, and the stock has been among the more consistent compounders in the Indian consumer space over the two decades since. Shamir Genomal represents the next generation in operations. The company has since added Speedo as a second licensed brand and expanded into digital retail and Tier-2 and Tier-3 city distribution, deepening penetration in markets where the category was previously served only by unbranded products.
