Torrent Power operates as one of India's most efficiently run integrated power utilities, managing generation, transmission and distribution across licensed geographies in Gujarat and other states. In a sector where distribution losses and billing inefficiencies have historically been high across state-owned utilities, Torrent Power's performance has been a consistent outlier. The family has kept both businesses closely held, professionally managed, and focused on their respective core operations. That restraint has served the group well over a long period.
